Showering is a daily activity that almost everyone practice, and is often accompanied with standard rituals that each of us repeating.
Often, however, we are aware that many of the habits associated with the shower is not healthy and cause us more harm than good.
These are the most common mistakes we make while showering.
1. Do not change your towel or shower
Unfortunately both are a great place for breeding bacteria. Same cloth you can use only three to four times before adding it for washing. And to ensure it really is clean, wash it with hot water.
It will eliminate odors caused by body oils deposited or soap.
2. Exfoliate your skin every day
You may think that daily exfoliation is the best way to remove the accumulated dirt, yet you are wrong. Excessive friction can make your skin become more greasy, and thus attracts more dirt and bacteria.
So exfoliate the skin of a few days, or preferably once a week.
3. Washing your hair without first combed
To avoid breaking the hair, before showering you should combed. Thus, you avoid your hair tangle and damage. If your hair is prone to greasing, use a comb with wide teeth, and then apply a conditioner that will smooth the edges, then rinse.
4. Brushing your teeth while showering
It is nice that you can do more things simultaneously, but if you brush your teeth while showering, probably do not pay enough attention. Dentists recommend that the teeth should be washed at least two minutes.
5. First shave your legs
We know how things go, whenever you are in a hurry, first you go down to razor. If you do not have enough time, then it is better to not shave. If you want to have smooth and soft feet, you should wait at least 15 minutes for hot water to soften the hair and open follicles.
6. Wash your hair every day
The more you wash your hair, so it will be more greasy because the scalp will try to make up for oil that are hosed down so that will create excessive oil. Wash your hair every other day or every third, so your natural oils will reach out to the very edges, keeping your hair shiny and healthy.
7. Shower with hot water
Cold outside and as soon as you enter the house long shower with hot water seem like the best thing in the world. But too much hot water can only worsen the condition of your skin, especially if you have eczema or dry skin.
Therefore stick with lukewarm water.
8. You are much too harsh with the towel
Your harshly wiping with towel may destroy hair follicles, leading to damaging and breaking. A so increases skin dryness. Dry the skin so that you tap with the towel and avoid holding your hair in a towel for longer period.
